The Phoenix K2 by Kangook Paramotors was introduced in December of 2019, in time for the start of the 2020 flying season. It features standard enhanced netting coverage, CNC cut spars on each of the hoop pieces, and is available in 132cm and 146 cm diameters.
The 132cm Phoenix K2 allows the use of propellers up 125cm.
The 146cm Phoenix K2 allows the use of propellers up 135cm.
Similar to the Kangook Classic, the Phoenix K2 starts with the classic center frame. The classic frame is available with two engine attachment possibilities. The direct engine attachment features engine mounting rails welded to the frame providing for the lightest possible paramotor. The other option is the multi fit frame. The classic multi fit frame features a generic mounting which utilizes an engine adapter specific to the engine of choice. The multi fit frame can be refitted for a different engine at any time by replacing the engine adapter.
The classic frame allows for the use of all Kangook swing arm options and can be converted between options at any time. These include:

The cage of the Phoenix K2 comes standard with the Kangook Protect option offering the enhanced safety afforded through better netting coverage. The single hoop design is also strengthened with attractive looking integral CNC spars .
The 3-piece hoops are secured to the frame with straps and to each other with high strength Velcro. They can be installed or removed in less than 2 minutes making transport to the field a breeze regardless the type of vehicle.
Have a single hoops but decide you want a double hoop? One of the greatest features of the Kangook Phoenix K2 is it’s ability to convert in a Kangook Classic! Converting is as simple as replacing the hoops as well as the foot section. No adjustments need to be made to the engine, harness, or swing arms and the entire transformation takes less than 2 minutes. Please note that due to differences in frame height, a 132cm frame cannot be made into a 146cm frame and a 146cm frame cannot be made into a 132cm frame.
The Kangook Phoenix K2 offers impressive torque compensation coupled with amazing weight shift! Torque compensation is accomplished using a simple spacer, placed depending on the rotation of the propeller. This is a simple yet effective way to minimize turning tendencies cause by the engine torque.
The Kangook Phoenix K2 is finished with a durable powder coat finish. The center frame is finished in black while the hoop sections are available in either orange or black. The netting is also available in either orange or black colors. The stainless-steel swing arms are finished in matte silver and the aluminum CNC swan neck arms come standard orange with black available upon request.
Like all Kangook Paramotors, the Phoenix K2 is constructed entirely from 6061 T6 aviation grade aluminum. Fully welded frames are strong and have very few if any nuts, bolts, rivets or any other type of fastener. Fewer fasteners mean less worry of parts shaking loose from the vibration of a single cylinder engine and departing your frame and flying through your propeller.
To top all of that off, all Kangook Paramotors comes standard with your choice of diameter carbon E-Prop or Helix!
The weight with Atom 80 is only 46 lbs (20.9 kg)
The weight with the Moster 185 is 51 lbs (23.0 kg)

The 146cm Phoenix cage allows the use of propellers up to 140cm in diameter! Larger propellers mean greater efficiency, more thrust without greater fuel burn!
